Rooftop garden of SLD building, HCMC

Rooftop garden of SLD building was a concrete yard on the 12th story. One of the challenges of this project is not so much regular in shape. Moreover, the metal roofing accounts for about ⅓ this humor square, releasing a significant heat to this area when the sun drowns. Not only that, but all windy directions was blocked by apartments with high walls and fences. One entrance of this project is located in a corner on the whole site, in addition, the other is following the corridor - border of the building.
As these cases listed reveals, when execution of construction and equipment installed in works came to an end, the situation of capital exhaustion occured. The alternative solution they chose is using cheap and unsustainable materials such as concrete, cement, and other raw mental hardscapes. Furthermore, they did not pay much budget to tile the floor. One of the ways demonstrating the usual investor concerns the profits more than quality is checking how completed the rooftop is.

For this stage, the landscape architects are beginning to hand-on the building.
The purpose of this project is resolving all the former faults. The curving pathway comes across and divides the main square into two areas. One is for the activities such as babeque, cafeteria and reading courts. The edge of the path which is set up to many layers (shrubbery hences, benches, slide of terrace), is almost invisible and comfortable. The fence of palm trees was arranged around the edge of the metal roof, to mitigate the discomfortable vision of hard tone metal. The other area is for the exercise, thus a long pergola was set up, in order to cover the sunlight and the wall of accomodation.
